Well, well! Summer has finally arrived! As we write this, it is June 25th and at long last the sun is out and it is actually warm. As in: you can go outside without a sweater or jumper on! Who would have thought it?
There are so many things that you can do in this weather in Surrey such as go to the RHS Gardens in Wisley, which are amazing, or perhaps go for a walk on Box Hill with the stunning views. It’s a great time of year! Enjoy it while you can.
Now, we don’t want to put a dampener on things, but we also have to accept that it is nearly July and in three months’ time it is going to be October, which means that the weather is going to be cooler again. You may even have to put the heating on. The problem with that is that heating your home comes with a cost, and in cold weather it can get very expensive.
This is why so many people are now installing underfloor heating in Surrey because it is the most efficient way of heating a home and – provided you do it right – can save you a small fortune on energy bills.

A Water-Based System
This is why we use a water-based system whereby water is warmed using a heat source and then pumped through a plastic tube embedded in the floor. Combined with our liquid screed it provides you with the best of all worlds when it comes to heating.
One of the big advantages of underfloor heating in Surrey is that it uses far less energy to heat a room than any other system – especially a radiator system. It will cost far less to heat your home and it will also heat each room evenly. That means that you don’t have areas of the room which are warm while others are colder.
